Drone Technician
Responsibilities:
– Conduct routine maintenance on UAV drones to ensure they operate at peak performance.
– Troubleshoot malfunctioning or defective drones, diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs.
– Inspect drones for maintenance issues or possible malfunctions before each flight to ensure safety and reliability.
– Assist with the development of simulation exercises designed to test the drones in real-world scenarios, gathering data for analysis and improvement.
– Travel as and when required.
Qualifications:
– Aviation Technician Graduate, Electrical Engineering degree, Instrumentation and Control Engineering or a related field.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards related to UAV operations.
– Experience with software and hardware integration for drone systems is a bonus, but not required.
– Familiarity with drone testing methodologies and performance metrics.
– Certification from relevant aviation or UAV regulatory bodies is a plus.
